Hello, and welcome to the "Slice Of Story" page! This page exists kinda simply because I feel as though it's only fair to tell you a little bit about myself. You know, since you've done me the courtesy of visiting my blog.

So, some quick basics to get things rolling. My name is Freena, born and raised in Indonesia. I'm 27 years old—22 in April 1983—and I've been blogging since 2006. Such a coffee addict and have a great write enthusiastic.

I've loved writing as long as I can remember.
I had aspirations in my younger days to be published as a teen. Although that didn't happen, I am currently working on a novel but seems like i had any courage to publish it. I started blogging while I was taking my bachelor degrees of pharmacy, first of all, using friendster's blog, and then i start to know blogger [this google] and i straightly fall in love, so i try to learn it by google search for everything on it, posting all in mine. Hence, the blogs.
Here I like to work on my own voice, my writing style—all important parts of creative non-fiction. But I also post poetry and fiction. Call it well-rounded, if you want. That sounds like a good thing.
Interests :
writing (all aboutlove&life); reading (terutama bacaan pinjeman - asik bgt tuh); travelling; cangkruk'ing (hehehehe); daydreaming; drawing; watching movies (ehm...); kissing mein schatz; etc etc.

My Family
I'm an adopted only child, a fact that I'm quite proud of.
When I say I'm adopted, often people will ask me if I know my real family, and that question always strikes me as unintentionally absurd.
I AM with my real family, I've never not considered my parents my real or not my real family. I know my real family and I love them immensely. I've met my birth parents, and no, that doesn't particularly eat at me and drive me crazy. As far as I'm concerned, I have the parents that God intended and I couldn't be happier.
I'm very close with my family. Even though I'm off at the other town, I call them regularly and I like to visit when I can. I'm very fortunate to have such a good relationship with my parents.
And let me just say, family reunions are a blast! I have an excellent family, of that I am certain. :)
